HIGHWAY NETWORK The transportation of goods and services is vital for commercial and industrial development. Calhoun County and western Iowa offer uncongested and well-maintained federal, state, and county roads. U.S. Highway 20 crosses East to West through the center of the county. Within a twenty-five minute drive, it becomes a four-lane, 65 MPH expressway to Interstate 35 for fast, uncongested transportation across the country. State Highways 4, 7 and 175 all provide linkage to Highway 20.
